JFM Management is a value-added reseller / systems integrator providing complete business operation IT solutions.  Our current eight member staff serves a client base with a concentration in the product distribution and service management industries that ranges from 8-user small business installations to entry-level ERP systems of 250 concurrent users.  Since 1984 we have provided a focused but comprehensive range of IT products and services from our downtown Chicago location.  Our client base is rapidly migrating from Unix to Linux-based servers while expanding their use of both browser-based and MS Windows thin client interfaces.

Systems & Network Implementation Specialist

This is a mid- to upper-level position on our systems and networking staff with management potential.  You will possess or develop skills in the following areas and bridge with our applications staff in the deployment and support of both Windows and Linux business systems:

  • Microsoft Exchange & Microsoft Networking including Terminal Services
  • MS Office configuration and management
  • Sonicwall or other VPN, firewalls, routers, and related technologies
  • Wireless Networking for corporate and business environments.
  • Linux O/S install, configuration and management
  • General hardware selection, configuration and installation (CPUs, routers, etc.)
  • Apache, Sendmail, Samba, Webmin, FTP, etc.
  • Experience with HTML, web hosting, and web technologies is a plus

 

 

Applications Analysis and Implementation Specialist

A position for someone with several years experience in implementing complete business operation and ERP applications.

  • Understanding of Inventory Management and Order Processing Applications
  • General understanding of accounting controls and application data flow
  • Service Management, Job Costing, or Lite Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Experience in Requirements Analysis, Design, and Implementation
